Handmade stoneware ceramic sculpture. Designed and produced by myself for the indoor or outdoor environment. inspired by the ice cave in Superman 3 and ruined castles from the Highlands of Scotland. This one off, white, engraved clay, castle has been built using coil building techniques with strong crank clay, to withstand changes in temperature.
The base has a whole in it so the piece can be staked in the garden to withstand windy days.
Ice Castle is half price because there is a crack in the base. This happened during the firing process. It will not make any difference to the castle if situated outside and the piece stands flat on the ground.
