Established after leaving college in 2000, my workshop was at a shared warehouse in Plymouth, set up by local artists called Flameworks. Please see the photo opposite and ‘Waterfall’.

Each high fired piece is durable to withstand changes in temperature if placed outside. My mum has one tall sculpture which has been in the garden since 1995 and has not changed, although that isn’t that long a go, I don’t think!

One-off, handmade ceramic pieces for the home or garden. Ideas come from formations of colour and texture found within rugged landscapes, photographs of galaxies the planets their surfaces and architecture.

I don’t want to copy what I see, completed designs are aspects of different themes mixed together to produce something totally different.
